There is so much on the banks of the Tyne and you can see it all by bicycle, mostly on traffic-free paths! You can also hire us to drop you and your bike off at the start of the many excellent long distance cycle routes in the North.

The riverside roman forts and Hadrian’s Wall – our world heritage site, brilliant art galleries and museums, rich industrial and railway heritage are all linked by the national cycle routes co-ordinated by SUSTRANS. Pick your bike up from our booking office on the Quayside in the Newcastle Guildhall Tourist Information Centre, just under the Tyne Bridge. We can also drop bikes off for customers and pick them up if booked one week in advance. Our staff are friendly and well informed – what better place to start your visit to the North East? 

We accept most debit and credit cards – you can hire a bike on the day or to avoid disappointment, book in advance.
